OLD MIAMI'S SPLENDOR

Walking through the Art Deco Historic District in Miami Beach, one is able to see and enjoy more than 800 exceptional retro buildings that were built between 1923 and 1943. It is an incredible sensation to see those buildings that seem to have been suspended in time, expressing bright pastel colors. Along with the hustle and bustle of Collins Avenue and the bright lights turned on 24 hours a day on Ocean Drive, the feeling is complemented by vintage cars and the frenzy of people coming and going. The nostalgia and those unique colors, only that district can offer them. It is a place that was appropriately chosen by Hollywood stars like Clark Gable and Rita Hayworth.

This piece of art is the warm-colored, linear-based representation Scheinkerman developed from his deep understanding of the style and its era of splendor. There is much in common between Art Deco and Neoplasticism. The harmony of lines, the architectural design patterns, and the splendor of colors are gracefully articulated to capture the attention of the connoisseur.

This unique piece harmoniously and gracefully blends pastel colors and the resonance of the Art Deco era with the abstract, minimalist and symbolic style of the De Stijl movement. Wherever this painting is exhibited, it will convey the spirit of the famous Delano, The Century, The Webster or The Wolfsonian hotels. It is, without a doubt, the opportunity to have a piece of the Art Deco District in the palm of your hand.
