ASYMMETRY IN 4 CUBES
© 2020 by Luis Scheinkerman
H 96.5 cm x W 124.5 cm x D 4 cm  (Approx.)
 H 38 in x W 49 in x D 1.5 in

This large rectangular unique Neoplasticist art piece was painted on a composite of wooden planks,  by which the structure is supported, along with a complex arrangement of slats. What was created is a truly original and unique composition that uses bright primary colors and 4 wooden cubes for a 3D edge to pop out the color.
This 3D element enhances its beauty and promotes a more detail second glance of this production.

The painting continues onto the lateral edges of the frame.
Signed on the front and on the back.

THE RECOVERY.
THE DISCOVERY.

Inspired by the Dutch art movement known as De Stijl, this neoplasticist painting is a labyrinth of shapes and linear vectors that includes innovative uses of 3D forms to advance within the core of this early 20th-century style. Its wooden construction is composed of multiple plates, mixing ancient, rustic or country flavor with the modernity of the piece.

This is an unusual work of art. For a really long time, a many pieces of scrap wood in a bundle were lying in a shed, forgotten about, disused. In order to make the most of them, Scheinkerman united them to form a panel assembly that (after many hours of toil in taking measurements, assembling, and multiple tests phases with the paints, color, and texture) gave rise to the characteristic perfection of the line in a finished work. Scheinkerman created this distinctly peculiar masterpiece of neoplasticism, which is noteworthy of the private collection that owns it. In person, it seems to translate into joy, balance, freshness and curiosity at first sight. Although this piece is extremely heavy given the nature of the materials used, it becomes extremely light to the eye, actively transporting the observer. We could say that it is definitely the product of the magic of art and the elements that compose it.
