THE STORY OF 
AN URBANE MAN

This work of art (which is clearly inspired by the De Stijl movement) has a distinct neoplasticist character and aims to show the artist's cosmopolitan character, the different places and experiences he went through in his life (represented in form, colors and size) and how they impacted on his way of expressing himself, his perception of the world, as well as the lifestyle or experiences inherent to each place.

This piece is a true time-lapse from his early years to maturity. This color-popping piece of art is in many ways a reflection of the artist's travels throughout some of the greatest cities and locations on the planet, including New York, Chicago, São Paulo, Copenhagen, Madrid,  Rome, Los Angeles and many others. The experiences and colors were unforgettable, and burned themselves into Scheinkerman's soul. Thus, Cosmopolitan ends up being an abstract 'walk' through the streets of the very concept of urbanity, one that brings us all myriad feelings, possibly including the urge to explore and the lust for adventure. In this case, not all who wander are lost.
